Nintendo announced the launch of DS Lite on January 26, 2006, a month before the first launch in Japan. The model got released in Japan, Australia, North America, Europe, New Zealand, Singapore, and defined regions in South America, the Middle East and Korea. This model gaming console comes with an extended battery life. It could work for fifteen to nineteen hours with a fully charged battery. This model console is also brighter, with more durable top and bottom LCD screens with four levels of brightness.

This model is designed in such a way that it is more resistant to shock. Apple iPod Nano V3: ensuring excellent entertainment and performance

The Apple iPod Nano V3 model comes with excellent performance satisfying the needs of users. The device, with a measurement of 40 x 90 x 6.9 mm and a weight of 42 grams, makes it easy to carry in hand.

The Apple iPod nano V3 is a portable media player from Apple Inc. ensuring excellent entertainment and performance to the users. It is the mid-range model in Apple's iPod family. It was on September 7, 2005 that the first generation model got introduced combining the features of both the iPod Shuffle and the iPod Classic. The intention by Apple to launch the Nano variant was to replace the iPod mini. The replacement of the 'mini' took Apple-related websites and the press completely by surprise since, although there were rumors about a new flash memory based iPod, there was no prior notice of the popular 'mini' being discontinued.

The new Apple iPod Nano V3 uses flash memory, like the iPod Shuffle, but with a miniaturized version of the display screen and "click wheel" found on the iPod classic. The media player has a screen that shares the same resolution as the classic. The battery and other internal parts were also reduced in size compared to the mini.

There are no moving parts, making the iPod nano immune to skipping due to physical trauma. The iPod nano comes with the iTunes feature, on the Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows. It connects to the computer through the same proprietary dock connector as the third-generation iPod, the fourth-generation iPod, and the iPod mini, with USB 2.0 connectivity. The iPod nano comes with a stopwatch and a multiple time zone clock function. There also exists a combination lock feature that makes use of the click wheel to lock the iPod, and serves to secure the user's calendar and contact information.

The Apple iPod nano V3, unlike its previous models, does not synchronize or connect over FireWire. Also, the lack of the remote connector found on the top of many previous models means that a number of third-party accessories do not work with the iPod nano. This model comes with a measurement of 40 x 90 x 6.9 mm and a weight of 42 grams. The model comes with a battery life of upto 14 hours and is capable of displaying upto 65,536 colours.
